Rare example of a Spanish Vernacular rent table
Beautifully made with panelled detailing inside the open back where the tennant or client would sit to pay their dues. This is a comfortable arrangement for two people sitting at a table being used as a desk, writing or library table.

One piece top with exceptional figuring and old patches to knots and worm, the front and back edges of the top chamfered. The frieze fitted with two short drawers with iron drop handles at the front and panelled at the back. The back open to centre for someone to sit at. The ends unusually panelled, with shaped frieze. The legs joined by shaped side stretchers.
