JUST PURCHASED MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW
The damask design has large flower heads and scrolling stems. The coverlet is made from 4 hand-pieced panels, each approximately 48.5cm (19ins) wide. It is bordered all round with gold, detached in some places. It has a green cotton inter-lining and is backed with beige linen. There is some loss of metal threads and the silk ground has some areas of wear.
