A rare, oak and walnut armchair, dated 1747, with its original Russia leather upholstery
The shaped, cresting rail carved with the date '1747' on the reverse. The wings upholstered on the inside and with scroll decoration on the oak exteriors. The wings, arms, rectangular back and seat retaining their original, Russia leather upholstery. The ends of the arms with carved decoration and scroll ends. Standing on turned front and back legs joined by a turned 'H' stretcher. Original colour and patina.
