Abstract expressionist, steel, sculpture, Upcycled Into A 16" high table lamp- metal and welder sculptors rose to prominence after WWII, following Julio González and Pablo Picasso and by the 1960s abstract expressionism, predominated.
- The strong lines of this composition are inspired by mechanical forms evokes forces of balance and stablity. In spite of this it conveys a sense of having been intuitively composed with a quality of movement, changing shape as the view moves around it. - The steel reflects the light which softens the form and responds the environment as the color changes with different lighting conditions during the day.
- Juxtaposes with period interiors and blend into modern and contemporary schemes. - The grey and brown patina is warm and harmonise with most colour schemes.
The conversion is recent so it conforms to UK PAT Electrical standards.
